Evergreen perennial to 2 ft tall by 3 ft wide. Fern-like green leaves, with clusters of pink flowers in spring and summer. Great nectar source for butterflies and other insect pollinators. Good lawn substitute, tolerates moderate foot traffic. Full sun along the coast to part shade inland. Drought tolerant, looks best with supplemental water. Tolerates a wide variety of soils, including clay and alkaline soils. Hardy to 0º F.
