Lilium pardalinum - Leopard Lily

Deciduous bulb to 3 - 6+ ft. Bears vibrant red-orange blossoms festooned with yellow splotches and deep red speckles. Summer bloomer. Gorgeous in a woodland garden with native ferns and coral bells. Best in part sun, part shade, or in the dappled shade of a high tree canopy.  Riparian species, requires supplemental moisture. Tolerates clay and serpentine soils. Appreciates soils rich in organic matter. Hardy to -10º F
